Jeffrey R. Swaney
Jeff Swaney founded the Swaney Law Firm in 1984. He began practicing law in 1982 with the law firm of Evans and Dixon. The Swaney Law Firm started as a solo practice but began growing in the mid to late 1980’s.
Jeff received his college degree from St. Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania in 1979. He received a undergraduate degree in Political Science and minors in History Philosophy and Psychology.
In 1982, Jeff obtained a law degree from the School of Law at St. Louis University, as well as a Master of Arts in Public Administration. Jeff is a member of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys (MATA) and The Missouri Bar Association. Jeff is also licensed and handles cases in the State of Illinois.
Jeff has been married to his wife, Jeanne, since 1984 and he has two sons. In his spare time, Jeff has coached baseball and obtained a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
James F. Ram
Born in St. Louis, Missouri, James F. Ram received his undergraduate degree in 1983 from Quincy College in Quincy, Illinois and his law degree from St. Louis University School of Law in 1988. After graduating law school, Jim became an attorney for the law firm of Evans and Dixon, handling insurance defense matters involving workers’ compensation cases. After leaving the insurance defense practice, Jim started his association with Jeff Swaney in 1989 at the Swaney Law Firm. Jim’s focuses his practice on Personal Injury, Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Disability.
Jim is a lifeling resident of St. Louis and resides with his wife, Teri, and their two children in Chesterfield.
Robert T. Healey
Robert Healey was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri and is a graduate of DeSmet High School. He received his undergraduate degree at the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1982 with a Bachelor’s of Journalism and his law degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1986. Robert was a recipient of the Evans Scholarship in 1978.
Robert focuses his practice on Consumer Bankruptcy, Personal Injury, Workers’ Compensation and Consumer Protection Litigation cases. He is a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates (NACA) and a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA). He is licensed to practice law in the states of Missouri and Illinois.
Robert became an associate at Evans and Dixon from 1986-1994, handling civil litigation and personal injury defense. He was staff counsel for the St. Louis office of CNA Insurance Companies from 1994-1998 specializing in civil litigation, personal injury and workers’ compensation defense. He joined the Swaney Law Firm in 1998 where he specializes in Consumer Bankruptcy, Consumer Protection Litigation, Personal Injury and Workers’ Compensation law.
Robert is married with three children and enjoys following current events, golf and sports.
